Be careful online!

I was up late, unable to sleep as my room is hot as Hades in the summer. I have a fan... a loud one that makes it difficult to sleep. Anyway, since I was up late just surfing around the web, I came across some game hack forums. Runescape and Neopets and Maplestory cheats, stuff like that. What caught my attention most, is that people are saying to use Private Message scams on anything from Forums (like GaiaOnline) to e-mail and blogging websites (like Blogger!!) to attempt to leech passwords and personal information from the user.

Well, you might be thinking, "what does it matter if they get a stupid blogging website?" It matters to me, and they will find a way to make it worthwhile. And on pay-to-use sites, this is even worse, as they can use the information in your account to steal financial information.

This website is full of great tips! Please be sure to check it out.

Now, on another topic, Runescape. I am Saiof7Swords on there :D I'm not on often, but if you want to add me on your RS buddies list, i'll chat when i'm on. Also, on Wonderland Online I am PunkerNiaa. Be a lazy gamer with me. Log on, and play. :)

Happy Birthday!!

Today is a bit of a family get-together for my baby brother's birthday. He is turning 2 years old! I got him a magnet board set because he's always playing with my grandmother's refrigerator magnets. And, it is soon to be my birthday, as well!

When is your birthday? How do you usually celebrate? What is your most memorable birthday?

Random. Have fun.

When everyday, run of the mill failure just isn't good enough.

Sometimes, you just have no excuse.

The Walrus and the Carpenter

The sun was shining on the sea, shining with all his might, he did his very best to make the billows smooth and bright. And this was odd, because it was the middle of the night. The Walrus and the Carpenter were walking close at hand. The beach was white from side to side but much too full of sand. 'Mister Walrus', said the Carpenter: 'My brain begins to perk. We'll sweep this clear in half a year, if you don't mind the work.'

Walrus: Work? Uh, pff, brrrr! Uh the time has come...

Dee & Dum: ...the Walrus said...

Walrus: ...to talk of other things. Of shoes and ships and sealing wax, and cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot, and whether pigs have wings. Callooh, callay, no work today! We're cabbages and kings! ... Oh, uhhh, oysters, come and walk with us. The day is warm and bright! A pleasant walk, a pleasant talk, would be a sheer delight!

Carpenter: Yes, and should we get hungry on the way, we'll stop and uh... have a bite!

Walrus: Hrmmmm!

Dee & Dum: But mother Oyster winked her eye and shook her heavy head. She knew too well this was no time to leave her oyster bed.

Mother oyster: The sea is nice, take my advice, and stay right here.

Dee & Dum: Mom said.

Walrus: Yes, yes, of course, of course! But eh... haha! The time has come, my little friends, to talk of other
things. Of shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot, and whether pigs have wings. Haha! Callooh, callay, come run away! We're the cabbages and kings! ... Hrmmm, well now, uh... let me see... Ah! A loaf of bread is what we chiefly need.

Carpenter: So how about some pepper and salt and vinegar, aye?

Walrus: Oh yes, yes, splendid idea! Haha, very good indeed! Now, if you're ready, oysters dear... haha... we can begin the feed.

Oysters: Feed?

Walrus: Oh yes, ahh, the time has come, my little friends, to talk of food and things!

Carpenter: Of peppercorn some mustard seed and other seasonings. We'll mix them all together in a sauce that's fit for kings. Callooh, callay, we'll eat today, like cabbages and kings!

Walrus: I uh, weep for you, I -uh- oh, excuse me, I deeply sympathize. For I've enjoyed your company, oh, much more than you realize.

Carpenter: Little oysters, little oysters...

Dee & Dum: But answer there came none. And this was scarcely odd, because, they'd been eaten, every one!

Walrus: Hmm, well, uhhh, ha ha, ha ha, ha ha, hmm... the time has come!

Dee & Dum: We're cabbages and kings! The end!

A few Questions to Begin: What is the lesson to be learned from the gluttony of the Walrus and Carpenter? In your opinion, is the Carpenter greedy as well, or simply not as intelligent as the Walrus? Do you prefer the movie version of Alice in Wonderland, or the script version?

P.S. This is supposed to be making fun of Ashok and how he analyzes poetry and Shakespeare in a friendly, good-humored way. :) Leave the serious bidness to Ashok, and let me make you laugh!! Although, there really is a lesson in this, so feel free to begin discussion. I'll even put my two cents in.

Let's run around nude!

So today, I got up extremely early so I could go chill out and sleep over at my fiancee's house. We spent most of the day with our mutual friend Rob, and then later on we met up my Krissy (my fiancee's set-sister) and her boyfriend, Mike. Also, our jewish friend Aaron showed up eventually. We were just goofing off all day, and suddenly it was night. I was cold! And we planned to go night swimming.

Let me just tell ya, that water was damn near arctic to me. Mike and Rob, however seemed fine, and one made the suggestion to the other- let's run around nude and go in the pool! Oh, gawd.

Have you ever experienced awkward and funny situations like that? Seriously, funny stuff.

Pain and Music

I'm in love with an artist named Emilie Autumn. So, i'm going to do something I usually wouldn't do. Post two songs, along with what I see as the meaning behind my favorite phrases in each song (I'm not picking apart the entire song, you can see the meaning in it yourself by listening to it! Yup, the titles are linked to YouTube). Yeah, here comes a long post. First i'll please your eyes with pictures of the gorgeous singer / violinist I am about to decipher and put on a pedestal.

Opheliac [ noun- an abnormal obsession towards a person ]
I'm your Opheliac
I've been so disillusioned
I know you'd take me back
But still I feign confusion
I couldn't be your friend
My world was too unstable
You might have seen the end

But you were never able
To keep me breathing
As the water rises up again
Before I slip away

You know the games I play
And the words I say
When I want my own way [ seems to me she needs things to go her own way; is obsessed with it always going exactly as planned ]
You know the lies I tell
When you've gone through hell
And I say I can't stay [ attempt to control loved one by unreasonable means ]
You know how hard it can be
To keep believing in me
When everything and everyone
Becomes my enemy and when [ jealousy ]
There's nothing more you can do
I'm gonna blame it on you [ blame ]
It's not the way I want to be
I only hope that in the end you will see
It's the Opheliac in me [ regret, saying please forgive me, it's just how I am ]

I'm your Opheliac
My stockings prove my virtues
I'm open to attack
But I don't want to hurt you
Whether I swim or sink
That's no concern of yours now
How could you possibly think
You had the power to know how
To keep me breathing
As the water rises up again
Before I slip away

You know the games I play
And the words I say
When I want my own way
You know the lies I tell
When you've gone through hell
And I say I can't stay
You know how hard it can be
To keep believing in me
When everything and everyone
Becomes my enemy and when
There's nothing more you can do
I'm gonna blame it on you
It's not the way I want to be
I only hope that in the end you will see
It's the Opheliac in me

Studies show:
Intelligent girls are more depressed
Because they know
What the world is really like
Don't think for a beat it makes it better
When you sit her down and tell her
Everything gonna be all right
She knows in society she either is
A devil or an angel with no in between
She speaks in the third person
So she can forget that she's me

Doubt thou the stars are fire
Doubt thou the sun doth move
Doubt truth to be a liar
But never doubt
Doubt thou the stars are fire
Doubt thou the sun doth move
Doubt truth to be a liar
But never doubt I love

You know the games I play
And the words I say
When I want my own way
You know the lies I tell
When you've gone through hell
And I say I can't stay
You know how hard it can be
To keep believing in me
When everything and everyone
Becomes my enemy and when
There's nothing more you can do
I'm gonna blame it on you
It's not the way I want to be
I only hope that in the end you will see
It's the Opheliac in me

Gothic Lolita
How old are you?
I'm older than you'll ever be
I've been dead a thousand years
And lived only two or three
I don't mind telling you
My life was ended by your hand
The kind of murder where nobody dies
But I don't suppose you'd understand
(Call off the search
We've found her)

If I am Lolita
Then you are a criminal
And you should be killed
By an army of little girls
The law won't arrest you
The world won't detest you
You never did anything
Any man wouldn't do
I'm Gothic Lolita
And you are a criminal
I'm not even legal
I'm just a dead little girl
But ruffles and laces
And candy sweet faces
Directed your furtive hand
I perfectly understand
So it's my fault?
No, Gothic Lolita

Thank you, kind sirs
You've made me what I am today [ if you read the beginning, you would see that she talked about being molested when she was younger- "murder where nobody dies" ]
A bundle of broken nerves
A mouthful of words
I'm still afraid to say [ impossible to admit; shameful secret ]
I don't mind telling you
Now that I'm old enough to love
I couldn't begin to even if
My pretty life depended on it [ you ruined my ability to trust, to love ]
And funny thing, it does [ how do you feel now? ]
(Call off the search
We've found her)

If I am Lolita
Then you are a criminal
And you should be killed
By an army of little girls
The law won't arrest you
The world won't detest you
You never did anything
Any man wouldn't do
I'm Gothic Lolita
And you are a criminal
I'm not even legal
I'm just a dead little girl
But ruffles and laces
And candy sweet faces
Directed your furtive hand
I perfectly understand
So it's my fault?
No, Gothic Lolita

I am your sugar
I am your cream
I am your anti-American dream

I am your sugar
I am your cream
I am your worst nightmare
Now scream

If I am Lolita
Then you are a criminal
And you should be killed
By an army of little girls
The law won't arrest you
The world won't detest you
You never did anything
Any man wouldn't do
I'm Gothic Lolita
And you are a criminal
I'm not even legal
I'm just a dead little girl
But ruffles and laces
And candy sweet faces
Directed your furtive hand
I perfectly understand
So it's my fault?
No, Gothic Lolita

So, beyond the amazing violin music and entrancing vocal effects that leave me drooling for music by her, the lyrics of Gothic Lolita speak of a deep, meaningful, significant, and shameful time in Emilie's life; and Opheliac (some say it's based off of Hamlet) is about obsession for a cause, hurting out of love, guilt over caring. Such a beautiful girl, with amazing talent. I would kill to see her live, I would probably die if I got to meet her. I can't imagine how deep she must be to scribe such brilliant lyrics.

And now, since I have been getting a few comments and more viewers, i'll start posing questions! For one, have you heard of this singer? Or are you particularly fond of one artist or another? And yes, Rap counts as music! Although I, personally, listen to very little.

4th of July

It's coming up! Independence Day!

Time to celebrate the stars and the stripes! Here are some fun activity ideas!

  • Drink a lot. Watch Independence Day, and play this game. ;)
  • Smoke a lot of weed, play with sparklers.
  • Fireworks. Need I say more?
  • Annoy everyone by reciting the Pledge of Allegiance every time someone says "America", "July 4th/4th of July", or invites you to a barbecue.
  • Go to at least 4 barbecues. Eat only red, white, or blue foods.
  • Wear an American Flag as a toga, and carry a beer bong around with you everywhere.
  • Tell people you are a hippy that despises America, and celebrate July 4th by doing only illegal activities.
  • Do something you've never done before (dirt bike, cruise, bungee jump).
  • Apologize to your best friend for missing their "very important party", then show up. With fireworks.
  • Look online for funny videos of cats chasing sparklers.

Summer Summer Summertime....

Why are you inside, reading my stupid blog?
Go outside! Enjoy summer! Ride a bike, go swimming.
Don't make yourself an idiot by staring at a computer all day.

Let there be.... Hamsters!

I don't know, Hamsters are just cute! Here's some totally irrelevant stuff.
  • A sonnet, in this day and age? It's actually good, it's on my friend Ashok's blog!!
  • Hath thou heard of thy Flying Spaghetti Monster? No? Wiki helps! :D
  • Sarcasm and satire rock everyone's world, so here's a place to buy some shit to help you seem witty and snarky. And well dressed! Of course, you don't have to buy anything, just read the shirts for some giggles.
  • Find out what's on the mind of the people you know, or any celebrity. I found out that my boyfriend once dressed up as Aladdin for Halloween!
  • The title of this site is self-explanatory.... And totally cool! Weird Picture Archives has some disturbing stuff, click at your own risk.

I suppose i'm in somewhat of a random mood today. I went to the dock by my house today and was going down slides backwards and quaking at frogs, so I was in a pretty fun and random mood. I wasn't out all day, but I had fun. Summer is great, even the sweating and bugs aren't that bad.... Antiperspirant and bug spray!!

Stumble into reading.

  • Did you know some books are forbidden from being read? One such book is James and the Giant Peach, for promoting drugs and disobedience!
  • This site is really cool and has interesting art / photography relating to books. Try the Non-Flash version, you can click through at your own pace.
  • Tired of Webster's Dictionary? Now you can try the Devil's Dictionary! And no, you don't have to pay for a subscription with your immortal soul.
  • When you don't know what to read next, BookFinder is the next best thing to asking your librarian. Although BookFinder doesn't tell you to keep it down.
  • This website is an amazing discovery for me-you can actually help send books to the U.S. troops so we can help keep their minds strong! Make LOVE, not WAR!!

StumbleUpon may be the greatest creation in existence, aside from written word. I have recently been reading the Dollanganger Family Series from V.C. Andrews. This woman really knew how to write! Her books are full of pain and sorrow, extreme hurt, and somehow coming through all of it alive. The first book starts with Flowers in the Attic, where a family of four children and two loving parents is torn apart by tragedy, and forced to live a secretive life, locked away, in hopes of gaining a fortune. Nothing seems to go right, and soon the four children are being tortured and starved, and one dies. The three remaining children need to escape the cruel tyranny of the situation they are in, and leave their prison. In the second book, Petals on the Wind, the three remaining children finally find some sort of love to cling to and grow on.

If you want to read any of them, here are the links to the Amazon.com site for each!

I can't change him.

I'm going to try to make this the ~only~ depressing blog I ever post.

Joseph George Kasternakis
I gave you so much love!
But you gave me so much pain.
I wanted this to be Forever and Always, baby.
I wanted us to do things together.

How to recognize an abusive relationship.
Please read it.

I want others to learn! Happily, we are both going to be getting
help so there are no more control issues in our lives, and we can be
happy together. If something doesn't feel right in your life, change it!!!

2 a.m. interests.

  • A pastime I highly enjoy is called "getting stoned". Have you ever wondered to yourself, Why is Marijuana Illegal? I have.
  • Forgetting your New Years Resolutions? Have to start exercising? Keep forgetting to email your friend who's vacationing in Zanzibar? Well look no further, as HassleMe will send you e-mail alerts to tell you to get up and get doing! IM feature apparently coming soon.
  • God, i'm bored. Let's play with a tangram. you know what that is, right?
  • Craving good book before bed, but everything on your bookshelf is, well, read thirteen times over? On FullBooks you can find 100% free reading for the days when you just don't have the time or money to go book shopping.
  • Blow your mind with some Creative Photography, I have a new desktop background thanks to this.
  • Well now I know how to apologize to my boyfriend next time I fuck up!
  • Do you need to amuse an idiot for a few minutes? This page is great for babysitting gigs, or just pissing people off.
  • This is so freaking cool. It's a goddamn animated puzzle. I love this. Seriously, I want 10,000 of these now.
  • A joint-rolling contest. Yeah. Now we don't just smoke our bud, we have competitions.
  • And now, I leave you with this.

Bonfire Night, Summer Solstice

Ah, the Summer Solstice. So it is now officially SUMMER! Woo. The time for tanning, swimming, fishing, sweating, being lazy, and just hanging out. Of course, i'll still be inside playing video games, but at least i'm having fun with it. Just because it's summer, it doesn't mean everyone has to sit around in what my boyfriend calls Ball Soup. Haha.

On the topic of being at least semi-active, I do ride my bike. It's crappy and old and falling apart, but gets me from point A to point B. I don't have a car. Or job. Yet. Mt sentences are getting pretty short. Hooray for random links!

  • Read this. And then tell me how stupid the idea is. 6,000 toddlers sharing the same toys, and you don't think anyone's going to get sick? Come on.
  • StumbleUpon gave me gold after one click. Breathing Earth is almost like watching things being born and dying. It looks like so many people are dying, but so many MORE are actually being born. Honestly, it's a miracle, and this website is a simulaiton showing a global representation. Way cool.

Video Game Girl

I guess since I did post that I play video games / online games, and i'm in need of a good distraction any day, i'll do a mini-review of some games.

Gaia Online.
An "Anime Roleplaying Forum" once called Go-Gaia. It has many people there to help or hinder you in your quest to get clothes and items for your Avatar, a virtual person used to represent you or yourself, or just line your posts. There are games, guilds, contests, and more. I've been playing it for years and still love it! My name on here is: [ Boogie] [ Oogie] [ Man]

Seeds of Time.
I recently joined this game. It's an In-Browser MMORPG (Mass Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) made by a college student named Josh. The art isn't the best yet as it is very new, but the simplicity of the game is addictive. Many people compare it to Runescape for some reason, but I like the setup of SoT better. My names on here are: BinaryBible, MorbidObesity, and MadameInsane.

MagicDuel.
This site confused the bejesus out of me for a while! It isn't difficult once you get into it, however, and i've already clocked in 25 wins and 33 losses! In this game, losses are good because you need a balanced profile, so it's not actually that competitive of a game. Plus, you can play it in small bursts and make just as much progress as if you just sat and played all day.
My name on here is: BinaryBible.

Zantarni.
I'm still confused because not everything works for me, I really don't know why not. The games are quite fun, however!
My name on here is: BinaryBible.

Tanoth.
It is a simple game. Buy armor, fight, work, or adventure. EASY. Just don't waste your Bloodstones like I accidentally did :( I thought I could buy them for 10 Currency each, but it turns out you have to pay with real money to get them. D'oh. My name on here is: BinaryBible.

How cool is this shit?

I found this off of galadarling, an amazing girl with an amazing blog that I now look forward to reading daily (p.s. there's a link down below!), and getting educated on fashiony things. So, I added her to my Google Reader, and am excited to be a new reader of hers.

Anyway, quick story for those of you who like animals like this cute, darling, baby skunk. Yeah. So as I see it is late and it is time for me to vacate my boyfriend's house, we decide to cut through a thin patch of woods. It's only about 100 feet or so, but still, there's things in there. As we get up there, we've kinda hiding, attempting to have a private conversation, and we hear rustling. Then, we hear twigs snapping.

I don't think i'm going through those at night anymore, i'm not dealing with some stinky skunk! Live and let live, I guess.

My heart knows me better than I know myself

So I'm gonna let it do all the talking...

I've been playing SingStar Rocks lately, that's why my blog posts start off with songs right now :D I just can't stop singing! It's kindasorta like Karaoke Revolution, although not quite as good for songs. It does have good controls and snazzy microphones. It has three different ways to play 2-player mode, which is awesome. There's Pass The Mic, which -cough- I have no idea what it does since i've never used it, Battle which is two people singing at once trying to beat each other's scores, and Duet, in which two people sing the song in alternating lines to give an impression of a fantastic duet going on! However, when you have a sucky partner, your awesome "Lead Singer" and "Hit Artist" scores drop wayyyyyyy down to Wannabe, Amateur, and even, le gasp!, Tone Deaf. Still fun, though. 1-8 player. Talent not required.

Besides SingStar, mostly i've been playing online games.
I guess that's it for now! I'm not currently reading any books or addicted to any movies / TV Shows, so I guess I can stop talking now :D

Zero Hour, Four A.M.

And i'm gonna be high, as a kite, by then.

One part of a wandering mind is insomnia. The greatest thinkers of time were plagued by it (or so i've been told), because for some reason, the time you are supposed to be asleep seems to be the time the muses come out. It's also the time that my new friend is online, and convinced me that my Amazing Abilities (slight exaggeration) and Positively Perfect Personality (flat-out lie) are great for blogging! . . . somewhere along those lines. ;)

Aside from sarcasm, angry Movie and Video Game reviews, and the occasional sports stats (just kidding!), I suppose the content most likely to be witnessed here is semi-amusing drivel. Which can start right now.

My father has been telling me for years that I need to write a novel. However, my thoughts are disorganized, it's like a bomb went off in the middle of my stream of consciousness and it all went kablooie! I found that I can write coherently for maybe a day, and then I somehow went from talking about going out on a boat for the first time, to what I miss most about my math teacher from 7th grade. And then came Jen Lancaster. (p.s. the title of this blog is a link to her page!) She is what's called a "Blog-to-Book" Author, and she gave me hope that hey, maybe I can write without totally confusing everyone!

So now i'm wondering, as my blog is going to be a wonderful smattering of things, I wonder if there's a way to work the term "Potpourri" in somewhere! :)
(haha, labels! I can put Potpourri in labels!)
